A Small Request
To my co-workers in the Japan office:
If you insist on calling me at 11:30PM my time to ask me to try and troubleshoot a problem that occurred two days ago (but needs to be fixed NOW), could you at least have the courtesy of calling 20 minutes earlier, thus ensuring I don't dump $40 on cash tables?
Yours sincerely,
Garthmeister J.

Bill them the 40 as some expense or other, but add 60 to it as the you're-bothering-me-at-HOME-with-this-bullshit fee.

...plus the after hours fee. And while you're at it, if they're going to bug you at home, maybe they should subsidize your phone bill!

It's the annoying thing when it is coworkers bugging you - you don't get paid for it. On the bright side, the company does pay for my cell phone, so I have that going for me.
